Okara: Woman strangles husband with help from paramour
OKARA: As reported by the Dawn News on Monday, a mother of four who initially claimed her husband was killed during a house robbery on Sunday night later ‘confessed’ strangling him allegedly with the help of her paramour and his friend here in Khan Colony.
Reports said Haji Akmal had married Saima Naureen several years ago and had four children out of the wedlock. Police said Akmal had gone to Saudi Arabia in connection with his job and in his absence Saima developed relations with Shafique of Lahore. Later Akmal returned to Pakistan and started living in Khan Colony.
Meanwhile, Saima and Shafique decided to kill Akmal so that they could live together. According to their plan Shafique, along with a friend, came to Okara on Sunday night and they both entered Akmal’s house with the help of Saima. At midnight the three accused allegedly strangled Akmal while he was asleep. After committing the crime Shafiq and his friend left the house and Saima raised an alarm that her husband had been killed by robbers.
