LAHORE: An additional district and sessions court on Monday convicted three drug pushers in three different narcotics cases.
The court awarded nine-month imprisonment to Zahid. The convict was also fined Rs10,000. Naulakha police had arrested him in May 2010 and seized 115 grams of hashish from him.
In another drug case, the court has sentenced Wasim Akram 10-month in jail. He was also fined Rs10,000. Liaquatabad police had arrested him in April, 2010 and seized 205 grams of hashish from his possession.
Meanwhile, the court awarded two-year jail term to Naseem Ali. He was also fined Rs20, 000. Police had arrested him in November, 2008 and seized 1100 grams of hashish from his possession.
