The area police said Khan Afsar was found wounded inside a Hi-roof with a single bullet wound in the neck.
“He was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC), where he died during treatment,” said Inspector Rao Zaheer, the SHO of the Defence Police Station.
“He was spotted by area people lying unconscious inside the van bearing registration number CF-1980. The ID card found in his pocket showed his name and age.”
Later, the victim was identified a driver associated with a private company and the resident of Korangi 2½, said the Defence SHO, adding that the victim was targeted during his working hours.
