Karachi: Injured political activist dies
KARACHI: A Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) activist, who was wounded on Friday in an attack on the Bihari Qaumi Movement (BQM) president, succumbed to his injuries at the Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) on Sunday.
Unidentified culprits had gunned down BQM President Aftab Malik in Orangi Town on Friday. Fifty five-year-old PPP activist Ayub Kaka, 59-year-old Kaleem Akhter and 35-year-old Waqar Malik were also wounded in the incident, and they were taken to the CHK.
However, Kaka breathed his last at the hospital on Sunday and his funeral was held in Sector 15 of Orangi Town, where the victim used to reside.
