Lahore: 6392 vehicles challaned in November
LAHORE: The Capital City Traffic Police claimed to have challaned as many as 6392 vehicles of various types for violation of traffic laws at Lahore Ring Road during the month of November.
The Chief Traffic Officer CTO SSP Syed Ahmed Mobin said here on Wednesday that 486 vehicles were challaned for over speeding while 5906 for not following the line and lane rules of traffic police.
He said that a number of drivers were issued warnings for committing minor violations besides imparting them necessary education.
The CTO further directed the wardens to keep the slow moving vehicles including cycles, donkey carts etc on the right side of the Ring Road and all heavy vehicles at extreme left.
