Six held for robbery in Khawaja Asif’s house
LAHORE: Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested six people, including two brothers, on suspicion of their involvement in Rs 2.5 million robbery in the house of Member National Assembly Khawaja Asif.
Police sources said that the arrested accused were two brothers, Khizar and Kashif and four others. According to police all the arrested accused were living in nearby houses of the residence of Khawaja Asif.
Defense-B Police Station Investigations In Charge Baber Bajwa while talking to the media also confirmed the arrest and said that they and investigators of CIA had been investigating the arrested accused.
He said that the finger prints of the six arrested suspects had been collected and sent to match with the finger prints taken by the police officials from the crime scene a couple of days back. He claimed that police would soon solve the case.
