Rawalpindi: NAB arrests corrupt Patwari
RAWALPINDI: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi Team has arrested Malik Mukhtar Ahmad, Patwari Halqa Sihala Islamabad.
Investigation against him was ordered by DG NAB Rawalpindi on the allegations of accumulation of assets beyond known sources of income or corruption.
According to findings of the investigation, the accused had amassed assets worth million of rupees in his own name and in the name of relatives.
Arrest warrants were issued by Rana Zahid Mehmood DG NAB Rawalpindi and consequently NAB team arrested him.
He was produced before the court which granted 14 days physical remand.
