Islamabad Police recover stolen goods
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police solved a case of theft at the house of a DMG officer, deputed at Ministry of Interior, in just eight days but over 1,200 cases of the same nature are pending with different police stations of capital.
According to sources, the officer lodged a First Information Report (FIR) vide number 706 that on December 4 jewellery, camera and other goods worth of Rs500,000 were stolen from her house in Sector F-8/1.
Due to her presence at an important position, SSP instructed the Margalla Police that case should be solved immediately.
Investigation officer Assistant Sub Inspector Manzoor arrested accused Muhammad Intizar, a resident of Dunyapur and recovered the stolen goods within a few days.
