Attock: Case against police officials
ATTOCK, Dec 25: The district Police officer (DPO) Dr Mohammad Akhtar Abbas has suspended four police officials of Attock Khurd police besides registering a criminal case against the SHO and Muharrar after he found 140kg of hashish missing from the Maalkhana (store room).
The district police headquarters said on Saturday that the DPO in a surprise raid at the Maalkhana of Attock khurd Police station found discrepancy in the quantity of hahish that was present in the malkhana and the one that was registered in the book. He suspended SHO Inspector Malik Ehsan, Muharrar ASI Sadaqut Ali, SI Ameer Shah and ASI Mohammad Altaf besides ordering registration of a criminal case against the SHO and muharrar.
Moreover, the DPO appointed SP Investigation Chaudhry Abdul Ghaffar to hold inquiry into the incident submit his report to him.
The DPO has directed the SHOs to properly maintain the record of the seized items particularly narcotics, otherwise they would also face the music.
