LAHORE: A suspected robber and a passerby were injured late on Sunday in crossfire between a shop’s employees and the suspect in Sabzazar.
Two men, suspected to be robbers, barged into a Bismillah Super Store situated on Multan Road and held the workers at gunpoint.
When challenged, one of the intruders opened fire and the employees of the shop also retaliated against them with firing.
In the ensuing shootout, a passerby later identified as Muhammad Ashraf, of Madina Street, and the alleged robber sustained bullet injuries. The other assailant, however, fled the scene.
