ANP activists gunned down in Karachi
KARACHI: A senior member of the Awami National Party (ANP) was gunned down in the precincts of Al-Falah Police Station here on Monday.
Some unknown armed motorcyclists opened indiscriminate fire at Qaim Biryani Centre and killed an ANP Senior Vice President of Al-Falah Ward, Aziz Khan, 23, within the limits of Al-Falah Police Station.
His body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
Riots started in the area and traders closed their shops after the incident. Police and Rangers were called in to control the situation.
Al-Falah Police Station House Officer, Adeel Afzal, said that it was an incident of target killing and facts would be disclosed after the investigation.
