Man found dead in Buffer Zone
KARACHI: Police found a torture-marked strangulated body from a nullah in Buffer Zone within the limits of Taimuria Police Station.
The victim, 40-year-old Abdul Hameed, son of Siddique was a resident of Sohrab Goth. Police shifted his body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for legal formalities.
SHO Arif Razzak said that the victim was missing since Jan 8. He had gone home after meeting his relatives who lived in Kausar Niazi Colony, North Nazimabad.
Razzak said unidentified men kidnapped, tortured him to death and then dumped his body in the nullah. The victim hailed from Dera Ghazi Khan.
Police believed that personal enmity is the motive behind the incident.
Later, police moved his body to the Edhi morgue after completing legal formalities at ASH.
Police have registered a case against unidentified men and are probing the case.
