Granny gets killed by young hubby in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: An unidentified person killed a 60-year-old woman in the limits of Tarnol Police Station but instead of arresting the accused, the police changed nature of the case due to influence by family of the woman, said the sources.
They said an unidentified person entered in the house of Pervez Khan, located in Tarnol Fateh Jang, and opened fire at Meraj Bibi, a widow and the mother of Pervez Khan, on Wednesday.
Pervez Khan lodged a First Information Report (FIR) with the police but he stated that an unidentified person and he did not have enmity with anybody, they said.
Duty Officer Abdul Ghafoor told Daily Times that Pervez did not nominate any person due to which investigation in the case was slowed down.
Sources said Pervez and his other brothers were not happy with is mother as she had married with 22-year-old Hussain Zada. Daily Times has come to know that Pervez would implicate Hussain in the case of his mother’s murder as he was influencing the police.
They said it was a routine of federal police that officers changed nature of cases and involved innocent people in crimes. They gave the example of Shahzad Town Police who had allegedly involved Saeeda and her brother in a theft case under the influence of her husband in order to pressurize her to transfer a house worth Rs 6 million in his name.
