9 outlaws arrested in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested nine persons from various areas of the city and recovered 1.530 kilogram hashish, two wine bottles, three pistols, one 12 bore gun and dagger from their possession, a police spokesman said.
Sub-Inspector Muhammad Aashiq from Sabzi Mandi police station arrested an accused Afzal Ahmed during routine patrolling in possession of 1.20 kilogram hashish.
Sub-Inspector Muhammad Afzal from Secretariat police station arrested an accused Safeer for having 380 gram hashish while Sub-Inspector Liaqat Ali from Golra police arrested an accused Fazal Rahi in possession of 130 gram charas.
ASI Ali Asghar from Tarnol police arrested two accused Gul Mast Khan and Naseeb Gul in possession of 12 bore gun and 30 bore pistols, four rounds.
ASI Khalid Mehmud from Nilore police nabbed an accused Intizar for possing 30 bore pistol and three rounds while Nadeem Sagheer, Arshad Mehmud and Mehmud Ahmed was arrested by Sihala police for possessing 32 bore pisto, dagger and two wine bottles.
Further investigation is underway from the nabbed persons. SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan has appreciated the performance of cops who arrested these culprits and directed to maintain further strict vigilance.
