Marriage dispute claims life in Capital
ISLAMABAD: A 22-year-old woman was shot dead over marriage dispute in the limits of Nilore Police Station on Thursday.
According to sources, Memona Shaheen, a resident of Pehont Village was in her uncle Muhammad Kamran’s house at Chirah Village and exchanged heated arguments and as a result Kamran shot her and fled the scene.
Police shifted her body to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences where hospital sources apprised this scribe that Ms Shahin was shot on chest with one bullet.
Station House Officer (SHO) Fazalur Rehman told Daily Times that a First Information Report under section 302 had been registered and police were finding the accused Kamran.
