PESHAWAR: Seven suspected militants have been killed in a clash with security forces in Orakzai agency of the federally administered tribal region.
According to sources, the militants targeted a security checkpoint with rockets in Dabro area of upper Orakzai.
Security forces retaliated with heavy firing and killed seven people. No casualties were reported in the ranks of security personnel, sources said.
On Saturday, security forces killed nine militants and arrested 52 suspected militants in nearby Mohmand agency.
