2 schools bombed in Peshawar
PESHAWAR: Two schools were partially damaged in two blasts on Tuesday in the suburbs of the provincial metropolis.
According to police reports, explosive devices had been planted at two government-run schools in the jurisdiction of the Mattani Police Station.
The first incident took place at the Adezai area, where a blast damaged a room in a girls’ primary school. The second blast also occurred at a girls’ school located in the Mariamzai area. It caused damage to the school building.
According to the bomb disposal unit, the explosions were of minor intensity.
