4 car-jackers arrested in Lahore
Lahore: Anti Vehicles Lifting Staff Saddar Division Lahore have arrested four members of a car lifter gang and recovered 19 cars worth Rs 10.2 million from their possession.
The criminals have confessed to 29 cases of car lifting during preliminary interrogation.
SP CRO Sajjad Ahmad Manj constituted a special team under the supervision of DSP Anti Vehicle Lifting Staff Saleem Mukhtar Butt comprising other police officials which collected particulars of the Ameen alias Meena gang and arrested the culprits including its ringleader.
The modus operandi of the criminals with the help of master-key used to unlock vehicles and took them to Peshawar through Motorway where they sold vehicles to Khurshid Khan.
The criminals are history-sheeters and around 29 cases have also been traced against them in different areas of the city.
The arrested were identified as ringleader Ameen alias Meena, Arshad Ali alias Kaka, Gulzar Ahmed and Zubair Ahmed.
