Peshawar: Protests held against killing of 3 in Lahore
PESHAWAR, Feb 2: Protesters marched here on Sher Shah Suri Road on Wednesday against the killing of three civilians in Lahore by US nationals and demanded capital punishment for them.
The protesters led by Shabab-i-Milli provincial president Mohammad Abrar and district president Iftikhar were holding placards and banners inscribed with slogans against the United States.
Shouting anti-US slogans, they termed it an anti-Muslim country and asked the government to sever diplomatic ties with it.While condemning the Lahore incident, Mohammad Abrar said that the US security agency Blackwater was behind the incident.
He alleged that Interior Minister Rehman Malik was supporting Blackwater in the country, which was caused unrest among the people.
