Guard shoots dead wife in Rawalpindi
RAWALPINDI: A woman was shot dead allegedly by her husband over a domestic issue in Naseerabad area here on Thursday, police said. Mohammad Arif, 45, a security guard at a private school, had married Razia Bibi 22 year ago. The couple had two sons and three daughters.
Relation between the couple started soaring a few months back over some domestic issue.
On Thursday, when Arif was leaving for work, the couple again had a quarrel. According to one of their sons, his parents were exchanging hot words when his father pulled out his repeater gun and fired a bullet at his mother, killing her on the spot. He then escaped from the scene. The police have registered a murder case against Arif on the complaint of his brother-in-law, Ghulam Ahmed, and started investigation.
