Remote-controlled bomb explodes at Khichi Canal
RAJANPUR: A remote-controlled bomb exploded at the Khichi Canal, a development site at Arabi Tela, 20 kilometres from Rojhan city, on Sunday.
An international construction company was carrying out work at the canal when a low-intensity remote-controlled bomb exploded there.
No loss of life was reported until the filing of this report; however, the machinery at the site was damaged.
According to Rajanpur DCO Aamir Raza and Political Assistant and Commandant BMP, Capt (retd) Altaf Hussain, it was a remote-controlled bomb explosion.
The law enforcement agencies, bomb disposal squad and fire brigade reached the site of the explosion. Police have registered a case and started investigation into the incident.
