29 drug traffickers held in Karachi

KARACHI: South Zone Police carried out number of raids in different areas of their jurisdiction and arrested at least 29 criminals with possession of illegal weapons and narcotics on Wednesday, the Daily Jang reported Thursday.

 

A statement issued from the office of DIG South Zone, Iqbal Mahmood, said that the Karachi South Zone Police arrested 29 criminals including motorbike lifters, dacoits, and street criminals.



 

Police recovered from their possession seven TT pistols, six vehicles, looted goods, narcotics, and bottles of liquor and registered cases against them before starting further investigations, the statement added.
