Inspector booked in murder case in Lahore
LAHORE: City police have registered a murder case against nine people including a police inspector in connection with the killing of Master Muhammad Ayyub, who was gunned down in Manga Mandi police precincts on Tuesday.
Police said that nine armed men shot dead the man near his residence over property dispute and fled away from the crime scene.
The police have registered the case against Inspector Waseem and his other accomplices later identified as Imtiaz and Mushtaq, said to be close relatives of the deceased.
On Wednesday, the police handed over the body to the deceased’s family after autopsy. Further investigations were underway.
