Rawalpindi: Pindi police arrest 105 suspects
RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi police in its two-day search operation on Thursday arrested 105 suspects in the different areas of the city. SP Matloob Hussain led the operation with over one and a half dozen teams of Rawalpindi police that included commandos, female police officers and operatives from the special branch.
The operation was launched early in the morning and the teams raided different locations including Pirwadhi, Fauji Colony and arrested the suspected persons. The police officials said police apprehended some 105 suspects from various areas and they had been shifted to relevant police stations and if they satisfied the authorities after questioning they would be released.
They said only those suspects were being arrested who failed to produce valid documents and were living in these areas without any solid reason. They said these persons were shifted to the relevant police stations for investigation.
