Valuables worth millions stolen in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: Valuables worth 2 million rupees have been ripped off in various cases in the federal capital. Police failed to arrest any suspect or recover the stolen valuables.
Sughra Naqvi, resident of F-7/4 PTCL Officers Colony lodged a First Information Report (FIR) vide 99 accusing Iqrar Ali Shah, a driver in her house, of stealing away 26-tola jewelry. Dr Rihana Rifat, resident of F–8/2 lodged an FIR vide 115 with Margallah Police Station alleging some Unknown had taken away jewelry worth Rs 300,000. Zia ul Haq, manager of Laraib Wedding Hall lodged FIR vide 89 with Industrial Area police stating that some unknown robbers had stolen generator wires worth Rs 130,000.
