Lahore: 2 human traffickers arrested
LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Sunday claimed to have arrested two human traffickers involved in deportees of South Africa case wherein 103 youngsters were sent and deported later from South Africa on March 06, this month.
It is worth reporting that FIA has also arrested a trafficker involved in the same case in a campaign started against human traffickers couple of days back.
Spokesman of the FIA claimed that in raid on Sunday a human smuggler Tanveer resident of Gujrat was arrested by FIA raiding team. Accused sent about four people to South Africa through illegal exists of the country and received more than Rs4 lacs from each.
In another raid raiding team headed by Mian Muhammad Ajmal arrested human smuggler Nadeem resident of Gujrat who was allegedly involved in sending about five people and received about Rs7 lacs from each.
Spokesman said that after the arrival of 103 deportees from South Africa Ministry Interior has directed director FIA Lahore to launch crackdown on human smugglers specially involved in sending of 103 deportees.
