ATTOCK, March 21: Police on Monday arrested driver and conductor of Nato oil tanker for allegedly torching the vehicle after stealing oil and gave the impression that it was a terrorist act.
Police said driver Shaukat Ali and conductor Ghulam Yaseen set ablaze their oil tanker (PT 0730) near Munoonagar village on main GT road in the jurisdiction of Hassanabdal police on March 11.
An investigation team headed by district Attock DPO Dr Mohammad Akhtar Abbass found driver and conductor involved in torching the tanker after stealing oil from it.
