Man kills brother-in-law in Haripur
HARIPUR: A man has allegedly shot dead his brother-in-law in Khanpur on Tuesday evening. The accused, however, managed to escape from the scene. Khanpur police quoted Raja Muhammad Naseer of village Mamrial as saying that his daughter was married to Raja Faakher in village Jolian. The couple had uneasy matrimonial relations due to which the girl returned to her father’s home.
Complainant told the police that his daughter was at home when Faakher came and insisted on taking her along which led to an altercation between his son, Raja Muhammad Adeel, and Faakhar. The latter opened fire with a 30 bore pistol injuring him seriously. The injured was removed to Khanpur Hospital from where he was referred to PIMS, Islamabad but he bled to death on the way.
