Cash, valuables snatched in 18 incidents in Faisalabad
FAISALABAD: Cash, jewelry, mobile phones and other valuables including motorbikes have been snatched in 18 different incidents in various parts of Faisalabad during last 24 hours. A spokesman of the police said here on Thursday.
Giving details, he told that 4 armed bandits snatched Rs.1.7 lakh and mobile phone from one Kashif resident of Chak No.242-RB near Dasoha Bridge while cash Rs.30,000/- and 4 mobile phones were looted from a mobile shop of one Adnan in Samanabad.
In another incident, unidentified dacoits tied up a security guard of a mobile tower and looted 4 batteries from there whereas 2.5-tola golden jewelry was looted from the house of Waseem Ahmad in Rabbani Colony. Three armed outlaws snatched motorcycle, cash and mobile phone from Shams-ul-Haq resident of Chak No.60-GB in the area of Sandal Bar police station while Rs.2.16 lakh were stolen from the house of Ahmad Bakhsh in the area of Civil Line police station.
In another incident, the unknown thieves stole electricity supply meter from the house of Sheikh Javaid in Abdullah Pur whereas armed highwaymen looted cash of Rs.35,000/- and snatched mobile phones and purses from 2 ladies near Kashmir Bridge at Canal Road. The spokesman further told that cloth worth Rs.75000/- was also stolen from the shop of Muhammad Anwar situated near Bhatta Stop in the area of Millat Town police station whereas the dacoits snatched 9 motorcycles in different parts of Faisalabad from Ejaz Ahmad, Umar Farooq, Asim Shareef, Muhammad Ameen.
