Four dead bodies found in Peshawar
PESHAWAR: Four unidentified dead bodies were found on Thursday in the fields of Gul Bela area within the premises of Daudzai Police Station in the suburbs of Peshawar. Daudzai Police Station SHO Gohar Ali told Daily Times that the men were killed somewhere else and the bodies were thrown from a vehicle in the fields.
“Three of them age between 23-26, whereas one man looks to be 45,” the SHO said. He said that locals informed the police about the bodies. When an investigation team reached there, it found the bodies. Two of those killed had been shot, whereas two others had no torture marks on their bodies. “It seems they were killed through poisonous injections,” he went on to say.
Police records suggest that at least 17 dead bodies have been found in Peshawar and the neighbouring areas during the last three months. “We suspect that it’s a kidnapping for ransom case, but we are in the initial stages of investigation. So we can’t tell what exactly the situation is,” the SHO said.
