Four arrested in double murder case in Islamabad
Islamabad: The Islamabad Police have arrested four men, allegedly involved in the blind murder of two Afghans within twenty four hours, a police spokesman said here on Sunday.
According to details unidentified criminals gunned down two Afghans Ali Raza S/O Rajab Ali and Aboot S/O Syed Jamal Shah on March 25 in front of gate no 4 DHA phase II and escaped from the scene. Sahala Police registered a case against unknown culprits.
Following the directions of Inspector General Islamabad Police Wajid Ali Khan Durrani and Deputy Inspector General (Operations) Binyamin, SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan gave the task SP Rural Malik Umar Hayat to arrest the criminals involved in blind murder.
He constituted an investigative team under the supervision of DSP Rural Sardar Babar Mumtaz, SHO Sihala Police Station Sajjad Haider Bukhari, Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ashraf and other policemen to arrest the criminals.
The police team, after investigation technical grounds, arrested four criminals Habib Ullah S/O Muhammad Ali r/o New Iqbal Town, Ashir Masih S/O George Masih r/o Faizabad,Muhammad Ali S/O Muhammad Ilyas r/o Saddar road Rawalpindi and Syed Qammar Abbas S/O Syed Maqbool Hussain Shah r/o Muslim Town Rawalpindi.
During initial investigation it was revealed that they have business dispute and alleged killer Habib ullah paid money to hired assassins to kill Ali Raza and Syed Jamal Shah. Further investigation is underway. IG Police Wajid Ali Durrani and DIG (Operation) Binyamin appreciated Sahala Police and announced cash prize and Commendation certificate.
