Karachi: 2 builders booked in land law violation case
KARACHI: Anti-encroachment police on Tuesday registered a case against prominent builders Saleem Zaki and Samiullah Jang for violating land law. The case was registered on the complaint of Mukhtiarkar of Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town Farooq Soomro, police officials informed.
Talking to media, Soomro informed that anti-encroachment police had registered an FIR (21/11) as the accused were involved in land law violation and could not provide the survey of granted land. Talking about the relevant land, he said in 1991, the government had allocated the 36 acres of land to the accused to construct commercial and resident buildings, but they allegedly built commercial plazas on most of the land and did not provide proper survey and ratio of the divided lands to the office of the Mukhtiarkar.
