Killer gets 10-year term in Lahore
LAHORE, March 31: Additional District and Sessions Judge Sana Khan Attique on Thursday awarded 10-year imprisonment to accused Safdar Masih and acquitted four others in a murder case.
The court also ordered the accused to pay a fine of Rs50,000 to the victim family. In case of non-payment, he will have to undergo three-month additional imprisonment.
The court, however, acquitted Imran, Mubarik, Shahzad and Asgher by giving them the benefit of the doubt.
Safdar Masih along with his accomplices had murdered Imran in 2006 in Manga Mandi police precincts.
