Rawalpindi: House looted in Pindi
RAWALPINDI, April 3: Five gunmen forced their way into the house of a director education in Gulzar-i-Quaid in broad daylight on Sunday and took away cash, gold ornaments and cellphones, police sources said.
Azmat Hayat Malik, director education Punjab said in his complaint that five unidentified persons entered into his house in his absence and held his family hostage at gunpoint.
He said he was away from the house when he was informed about the incident. He rushed to the house and found his family in grip of fear. He said the gunmen took away Rs150,000, three cell phones and gold ornaments after locking the women and children in a room. He said, “The gunmen held the family at gunpoint and forced them to hand over the cash and valuables. However, they did not harm anybody and left the house with cash and gold ornaments.”
