KOHAT: At least six militants were killed when security forces pounded their hideouts with artillery shelling in Darra Adamkhel on Thursday.
Sources said that artillery unit of army pounded a frequented route of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan in Bulandra area of Darra Adamkhel, adjacent to Orakzai Agency. They said that shelling continued for several hours.
Officials claimed that six militants were killed in the shelling but their bodies were taken away by their colleagues. However, independent sources didn’t confirm the claim of officials.
