2 kidnapped brothers recovered in Badin
BADIN: Police during a raid here on Tuesday recovered two real brothers who were kidnapped for ransom. Addressing a press conference here, District Police Officer (DPO) Badin said that police on early Tuesday conducted raid at a house during which two kidnapped brothers were rescued. However the captors managed to flee and no arrest was made.
The two brothers were kidnapped some two months earlier from Pangrio area of Badin and captors were demanding Rs 20 million for their release. The DPO said that during search operation across district in the past few days as many as 64 wanted outlaws were nabbed and a huge cache of illegal drugs were also seized from different areas.
Meanwhile two women, Mariyum 30, and another woman of Ittefaq Colony approached police against maltreatment and domestic torture. Police registered separate case on complaints of both women but no action was taken. The incharge Judge, District and Sessions Court Khairpur Khalid Mehmood Bhatti has directed the SHO Gambat to recover Mst Sassui Gopang.
