Three persons deprived of cash in Khanpur
Khanpur: Six highway robbers looted cash Rs 344,000 from passersby on Liaqatpur road on Monday late night. According to police, Tariq Shah Advocate r/o Khanbela was returning home by a car when he was intercepted by six armed bandits near Qudratabad. The outlaws snatched cash Rs 320,000 from him at gunpoint. The robbers also looted cash Rs 12000 from Khadim Hussain and same amount from Muhammad Khan. They also drove away a motorbike of Muhammad Khan.
Meanwhile, four persons—Muhammad Yasin, Dur Muhammad and two brothers Ghulam Madni and Ghulam Muhammad of Zafar Abad, all were waiting transport at Haiderababd bus stop, received bullet injuries by the firing of the same criminals. Shedani Sharif police shifted the injured to hospital. Thieves stole cash and gold ornaments from a house of a villager on late Monday night.
