LAHORE: The CIA Organised Crime Police have arrested 10 members of a gang involved in incidents of dacoity, street crimes and house robberies and recovered gold ornaments worth Rs200,000 from their possession.
According to an official handout issued on Wednesday, on the directive of Deputy Inspector General (Investigation) Ali Aamir Malik and SSP (Investigation) Abdul Razzaq Cheema, CIA SP Umar Virk constituted a special team under the supervision of CIA DSP Cantt, Ather Farooq. The police team collected particulars of the criminal gang and arrested its 10 members.
