NH&MP arrest pickpockets in Islamabad
Islamabad: National Highways & Motorway Police (NH&MP) Monday arrested two professional pick pockets red-handedly who were allegedly involved in many cases of looting passengers of buses by offering them intoxicating food items and tablets to them. Intoxicating tablets, looted money and three mobile phone sets have also been recovered from their custody.
The officers of Motorway Police on their surprise checking on Pindi Bhattian–Faisalabad Motorway (M-3) in the area of Hafizabad, stopped a bus KBS-486, which was going from Islamabad to Melsi.
During checking, the officers observed that a passenger was found sleeping on his seat. When the NH&MP officers tried to wake up him, they found that he is in a state of intoxication. After providing him first aid, the man was shifted to Pindi Bhattian Hospital for further treatment.
