Four robbers arrested in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: Bhara Kau Police arrested four alleged dacoits during raid at their hideout and recovered illegal weapons from their possession, police spokesman said on Wednesday. On tip off, special police team under the supervision of Bhara Kaho Police Station House Officer Inspector Rukhsar Mehdi raided at a place in `Phulgran area’ and arrested three persons red handed when they were planning to make a robbery.
One of the accomplices managed to escape from the scene while the nabbed persons were identified as Javed, Ahmed, Aftab Bhatti and Saud Hussain. Police also recovered three 30-bore pistols from their possession. A police team has been tasked to arrest the absconding criminal while physical remand of the nabbed dacoits has been obtained from the concerned court. Meanwhile, Police also arrested an accused of dacoity, Tanveer who snatched van from Shafiq at gunpoint. ASI Muhammad Ishaq from Sabzi Mandi Police Station nabbed Owais Naseer and recovered a car (LWH-2838) stolen from the area of Iqbal town Lahore. Sub-Inspector Jamshed Khan from Bhara Kau Police Station apprehended a drug pusher Moazam Khan for having 120-gram hashish while ASI Muhammad Azeem from Shalimar Police Station arrested three professional beggars Jaffer Ali, Habib and Allah Bux. ASI Mumtaz Baid from Margalla Police arrested an Iraqi national Ibrahim who could not produce any document for his legal stay in Pakistan.
