Robbers gang busted, three held in Peshawar
Peshawar: Capital City Police claimed to have arrested three robbers hiding in a graveyard and recovered arms from their possession here on Wednesday.
According to details acting on the special directives of Chief Capital City Police Liaqat Ali Khan, SP Cantt Shafiullah Khan constituted a raiding party under the supervision of DSP Cantt Banaras Khan. Police party conducted a successful raid and arrested three robbers hiding in Wali Mohammad graveyard.
The arrested were identified as Sahil s/o Munir Gul, a resident of Gulbarg, Aqib Javaid s/o Javaid Raza, a resident of Lal Kurti and Arfat s/o Ishtiaq, a resident of Al-Noor Street. Police also recovered three pistols and cartridges of different bores from their possession. Police have started investigations after registering cases against the alleged criminals.
