Police nab four accused in injured condition in Hyderabad
HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad police arrested four alleged dacoits during an encounter here Wednesday from Sehrish Nagar area in the limits of Qasimabad police station. All of the alleged bandits received bullet injuries on their legs during the encounter, according to a police spokesman.
He said that the injured accused had been shifted to Civil Hospital where after their medical treatment they would be presented in a court. The accused who reportedly confessed to their involvement in 45 different crimes, have been identified as Masood Maqsood, Muhammad Sharif Jamali, Rashid Hussain Jamali and Arshad Ali Jamali.
Except Maqsood, who is a resident of Kotri area of Jamshoro district, the others belong to Garhi Khairo area of Jacobabad district. The spokesman said the encounter took place early Wednesday morning when police of PS B-Section Latifabad foiled a robbery attempt by the accused in Latifabad Unit- 6.
He said the robbers opened fire on police and fled from the place however, police chased them and they were surrounded by B-Section and Hussainabad police in Sehrish Nagar in the limits of PS-Qasimabad.
