NASEERABAD: Two police personnel were killed while three others sustained injuries when unidentified men attacked a police van in Naseerabad. Police retaliated and killed one attacker and arrested another, Geo News reported.
According to the police, four unidentified gunmen opened fire at police van when personnel of Mir Hassan Khan Police Station were patrolling in the area, killing constable Rab Nawaz among two other policemen and injuring ASI Wazeer Khan among two others.
Police retaliation killed one attacker and arrested another while remaining two managed to escape. Police have cordoned off the area and started search operation. Injured policemen have been shifted to Dera Murad Jamli Hospital.
