ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested 17 persons during search operation and crackdown against criminal elements and recovered three snatched mobile phones and one pistols from their possession, a police spokesman said on Wednesday.
CIA police arrested four accused named Kamran, Farhan, Muhammad Aasif, Bilal and recovered snatched mobiles and cash from their possession.
Sabzi Mandi police nabbed accused namely Shaik Wajit and recovered two snatched mobiles phones from him while a woman Amina Bibi involved in a theft case was also arrested.
Koral police, on a tip off, arrested four accused namely Muhammad Younas, Muhammad Zasheen, Umar Raiz and Nida Bibi involved in immoral activities and a pistol had been also recovered from them. During search operation, Sabzi Mandi Police arrested a total of three suspects.
