Islamabad: 9 outlaws arrested
ISLAMABAD, May 7: The Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) has arrested nine accused including a proclaimed offender involved in several criminal activities and recovered looted items including laptops, computers and mobile phones from their possession, a police spokesman said.
Following the directions of SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan to launch massive crackdown on the criminal elements, DSP CIA Bashir Ahmed Noon and his team arrested nine notorious criminals involved in criminal activities in the areas of Sabzi Mandi, Bhara Kahu, Shahzad Town and Kohsar police stations.
Meanwhile, Margallah police arrested an alleged thief while the Golra police nabbed a man for carrying hashish.
SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan appreciated the CIA team and directed them to continue efforts against such elements.
