Lahore: New Anarkali Police Tuesday arrested two kidnappers and recovered the body of the victim from Shahdara. The deceased was identified as Waqas, son of Mahboob Ahmad, who hailed from Depalpur and was presently living in a rented house in New Anarkali.
The accused, identified as Kashif and Sharif, had kidnapped Waqas on February 11 and demanded his father Mahboob Ahmad to pay Rs 2 million as ransom. When the accused observed that the family was not able to pay the ransom, they killed Waqas and buried him in Shahdara area.
