3 shot dead in Nowshera incidents
NOWSHERA: Two persons were killed over a land dispute in Nizampur while another shot dead over a money related dispute in Badrashi village here Thursday, police said.
Gulab Zadin in his dying declaration told the police that he had gone to the house of his brother Jamal Din to settle a land dispute with his brother Mir Zadin and uncle Jamshed. He said that during the jirga, Jamshed and Mir Zadin opened fire on them critically injuring him (Gulab) and Sher Zadin.
Sher Zadin succumbed to injuries at the District Headquarters Hospital in Nowshera while Gulab Zadin died in a hospital in Peshawar. Meanwhile, a person was killed and another sustained injuries due to a money dispute in Badrashi village, police said.
Zahid Muhammad told the police that one Asghar had borrowed money from Fazal Amin and was allegedly using delaying tactics in paying back the amount. He said that he along with Fazal Amin and Khairul Amin went to the house of Asghar where Fazal demanded return of the money.
He said Asghar, Nusrat Iqbal and Safdar allegedly opened fire on them, killing Fazal Amin on the spot. Asghar was arrested by the police in injured condition as he had been wounded in the firing as well.
