Lahore: Man killed in provincial capital
LAHORE: Man killed in the provincial capital on Friday. A 40-year-old man was strangled to death by unidentified people in the Barki Police precincts. The victim was identified as Rafaqat Ali, a resident of Mandaya Wala Village. According to police the deceased had left his house on Thursday night but did not return. His family started looking for him and finally his body was found on Friday from a nearby farm.
Police said some unidentified people had tortured and strangled Ali, and later, threw his body in a farm and ran away from the scene. Police removed the body to the morgue for autopsy. A case has also been registered against the unidentified people on the complaint of the victim’s brother Muhammad Yaqub.
