Karachi: CID team recovers huge cache of explosives
KARACHI: The Crime Investigation Department (CID) of Sindh police on Saturday claimed to have arrested two notorious explosive suppliers of banned outfit and recovered a huge cache of explosives from their possession.
A CID team headed by SSP Fayyaz Khan conducted a raid at Mochko area of Baldia Town and arrested two suppliers of explosives after encounter with them and recovered some 300 explosive sticks, each stick carrying 115 grammes of explosive material; 1900 detonators and 232 meters cords.
The detained accused were identified as Mirsood Khan hailing from Mardan and Fareed Khan belonging to Swat. The accused persons used to supply explosive material to different terrorist and separatist organisations. During the course of investigation, culprits revealed that Chaudhry Riaz, resident of Lahore, was the ring leader of their gang.
