Lahore: LHC CJ suspends three court employees
LAHORE: The Lahore High Court Chief Justice, Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry, on Tuesday suspended three court employees for getting illegal gratification and ordered inquiry into the matter. Qasid Ikhlaq Ahmad and two Naib Qasids, Muhammad Anwar and Salamat Bhatti, were caught red-handed.
They were already under surveillance and their act of getting illegal gratification was proved through closed circuit cameras (CCTVs). The chief justice, while taking action against the employees, issued orders to eliminate corruption and corrupt element from judiciary. He said the CCTVs and other latest technology would be used to get rid of the corrupt element.
